Business Details
We are Alternative Occasions, a fineart photographer based in North Wales. We have been operating in this region for three years, continually adapting our practice to the local landscape and light. Our roots lie in documentary photography, a discipline we have pursued since our early career in York. We spent several years capturing the annual candlelit SantaLucia festival at York Minster for the York AngloScandinavian Society. Our work is published in the book A Touch of Scouse, celebrating the people of Merseyside. We specialise in harnessing natural light to reveal the subtle textures and colours of everyday scenes.
We approach each project with rigorous compositional standards, ensuring each image meets galleryquality resolution. We collaborate closely with clients to translate their vision into compelling visual narratives. We maintain full transparency throughout the creative process, providing previews and detailed proofing. We are committed to delivering highquality prints and personalised framing advice that exceed client expectations. We continuously explore new subjects, from coastal horizons to performance art, to keep our portfolio fresh and resonant.
