I am Liz Emerson, a photographer with over 30 years of experience living in South East London. For the past 15 years, I've had the privilege of capturing the beauty and magic of family life through my lens. With a strong background in public relations and sponsorship, I've had the opportunity to work with world-leading authors, actresses, business leaders, and aspiring artists. My work has been featured in international media and on the back of book jackets.

As a mum of a 21-year-old and 17-year-old, I've walked alongside families through the joys and challenges of life. I've witnessed the unwavering love that parents have for their children, and the way in which family dynamics can evoke emotions that range from laughter to tears. My passion is to capture these moments, not just with a camera but with empathy and compassion.

My Approach

As a photographer, I believe that the key to great photography is building an emotional connection with my subjects. I strive to create an atmosphere that is comfortable and relaxed, allowing families to be themselves and enjoy the experience. I don't believe in imposing a specific style or theme, but rather allowing the family's unique personality to shine through in the images.

I've developed a keen eye for capturing life's precious moments, from the exuberance and laughter to the quiet contemplation. Whether I'm photographing a family of five or an individual, I believe that the most compelling portraits are those that reveal the subject's true character.

My Experience

As a trained photographer at the London College of Printing, I've had the privilege of honing my skills and developing my unique style. With over 25 years of experience in PR and sponsorship, I've gained a deep understanding of how to portray people and businesses at their best. My personal work is structural, tonal, and abstract, and I love sharing my art with others at exhibitions and through private commission.

I believe that photography should be accessible to everyone. That's why I've structured my pricing to be competitive and inclusive. From the 500 Shoot fee to the 750 Digital file buy-out, I've made sure that every option is designed to provide the best possible value.

Packages

• 500 Shoot fee: includes delivery of a set of 12 10x8 inch digital images
• 750 Digital file buy-out: includes the cost of the shoot, and universal usage permission
• 65 Print orders: all prints are on archival quality professional luster paper up to 10x8 inches
• Framed prints: prices start at 250 per framed print
• Albums: a wonderful way to keep images for posterity; prices on request
