I'm Jonathan Lee, the founder of Journey Life Photography. With a background in graphic design and architecture, I've developed a creative eye for photography over the years. I'm thrilled to have turned my passion into a profession, and I'm dedicated to delivering a fun, relaxed service that exceeds our clients' expectations.

We specialise in family and children photography, pet photography, and new-born and baby photography. Our style is photo-journalistic, which means we focus on capturing natural, relaxed moments rather than forced poses. We believe this approach results in more authentic and meaningful photographs that you'll cherish for years to come.
Family Photography
Our family photography sessions are designed to be a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. We'll spend time getting to know you and your family, allowing us to capture natural interactions and special moments. We can also provide more formal portraits using our professional mobile studio if you prefer.
Pet Photography
Our pet photography sessions are tailored to capture the unique personality of your furry friend. We'll spend time getting to know you and your pet to build trust and capture a range of different photos, including portraits, action shots, and more.
New-born and Baby Photography
We understand that capturing the arrival of your new-born or baby is a special moment that you'll want to cherish for years to come. Our new-born and baby photography sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable, with our professional studio brought to your home. This allows us to capture natural shots and reduce stress, making it a more comfortable experience for everyone involved.
Landscape Photography
As passionate photographers of the natural world, we're always on the lookout for that next special landscape shot. Our landscape photography services capture the beauty of nature and can be purchased as high-quality prints in a range of sizes and formats.
Locations
We're based in Chesterfield and operate throughout Derbyshire and Yorkshire, covering areas including Mansfield, Sheffield, Dronfield, Huddersfield, and all areas of the Peak District. We can suggest stunning local locations for our photography sessions or bring our professional mobile studio to your own home.
Our Process
After the session, we'll use professional software to meticulously edit the RAW files, producing beautiful, high-resolution photos. We'll then send you the images for selection, and you'll receive your final products, which include digital proofs and printed copies.
Packages
We offer a range of packages to suit your needs, including the Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages. These packages include a 60-90 minute shoot, digital proofs, edited digital images, and printed copies of your selected shots.
