At Hector Innes Photography, we are proud to have been capturing timeless moments since 1937. Our family-run business is situated in Kelso Square, in the heart of the Scottish Borders. Over the years, we have grown to include a retail camera shop with a wide selection of digital cameras, binoculars, and telescopes, as well as a digital printing and film processing lab.

Our team is led by Alastair Innes, a BIPP qualified photographer with a degree in photographic Science and over 40 years of experience. Alastair offers a full photographic service including wedding photography, portraits, commercial photography, passport, driving license, and ID photographs, public relations, and agricultural photography.

Weddings

When it comes to your wedding, you can rest assured that Alastair Innes will be there to capture every moment. With over 40 years of experience, he has photographed over 1000 weddings and is a qualified licentiate member of the British Institute of Professional Photography. From the preparation and ceremony to the speeches and first dance, Alastair will be there to ensure that your special day is remembered forever.

We offer several packages to choose from, allowing you to select the coverage that suits you best. Whether you'd like to include the preparation, ceremony, speeches, and first dance, or just focus on the key moments, we have options to suit every couple. And, after your wedding, you'll receive a USB drive of all the photographs taken, adjusted and ready for printing.

Portraits and Commercial Photography

In addition to weddings, we also offer portrait and commercial photography services. Whether you need photos for personal use or for business, our experienced team will ensure that your images are of the highest quality. From family portraits to business headshots, we have the expertise and equipment to deliver exceptional results.

Print Services

We can produce prints from both film and digital media, including poster prints and canvas prints. We also offer a range of photo gifts such as mugs, mouse mats, and photo acrylics. Plus, you can choose from our wide range of local landscape photographs, including historical black and white prints from our archives.
